HARMONY OF THE SPHERES

Harmony of the spheres continues Paluzzi’s exploration of musical and photographic tones. Drawing on the long-held belief that planets emit a musical hum as they move, he focuses on Johannes Kepler’s Harmonice Mundi (1619), which describes each planet "singing" in its own voice. Paluzzi translates these celestial notes into darkroom movements, merging sound and image. This work builds on his previous musical-photographic experiments, This place is a shelter (2018) and The goldberg variations (2019), transforming planetary harmonies into visual compositions.
